SOLID BUBBLE BATH? HERE IS HOW TO USE THEM!

Foaming lollipop? Foaming scoops? Solid bubble bath? What is it and how does it work?

The solid bubble bath is an alternative without container, therefore more ecological. In the majority of solid bubble baths on the market in general, you will find ingredients such as SLS and baking soda in very large proportions. The problem is that SLS is known to cause skin irritation. As Savonnerie Bon Bain did things differently, in our bubble bars, we include ingredients such as cocoa butter and vegetable starch to give hydration and softness to your skin. For the foam, we trust our surfactants derived from coconut such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) which is very different from SLS and Coco betaine among others. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is a mild surfactant. It creates a dreamy, long-lasting foamy blanket of bubbles that are far less likely to irritate your skin.

How to use it?

There are several ways to use a bubble bar. The main goal is to dissolve the bar and agitate the water around it. So….

Most bubble bars are good for 3-6 baths depending on their size, the hardness of your water and the number of bubbles you want. The softer the water, the more baths per bubble bath. You can cut it to control portions.

Then you will turn on your water. Now the little things...

You will now grab your bubble bar and rub it with your fingers while holding it under running water. Hold it there until it is completely dissolved.

Tips for making more bubbles!

1- Use hot water! The hotter the water, the better the bubbles.

2- Shake the water after dissolving the bubble bar under running water.

3- If you have a shower, use it to create movement, so more bubbles.

Ultimate Tip: For smaller, yet fuller bubbles, hold the bubble bath solid under the tap. For larger bubbles, use a muslin bag under the tap or a strainer for bath cocktails.

If you don't cut your bubble bath bar, when there's enough suds, put what's left in your soap dish for next time.

Storage advice: keep the bubble bars cool and dry in a soap dish, a glass jar or any other container to keep them away from water.
